Building bridges
with Africa and the
Middle East

The European Corporate Council on Africa and the Middle East was born with the primary objective of developing feasible, effective and lasting solutions for more sustainable healthcare and education systems throughout Africa and the MENA region. Our mission is to promote a radically different approach to healthcare and education that does not rely on public funding alone, but also private investment. Through constructive dialogue, new partnerships and strong cooperation between Europe, Africa and the MENA region we will bring together gamechangers in dialogue and debate to address the complex challenges facing Africa and the MENA region today through constructive analysis and action.

Mortality defines the human condition. All that we achieve during this life is destined to end with us. Yet if we carry out actions for the greater good then immortality is within reach. The seeds of philanthropy bear much fruit long into the future. Kamel Ghribi

Realistic, effective and lasting solutions for sustainable healthcare across Africa and the MENA region

Politics

The ECAM Council is a non-partisan, non-profit council. Mission driven, it is designed to promote authoritative and intellectual exchanges across borders, cultures and languages. The focus of our forums is to pursue constructive analysis and examination of the complex challenges facing the Middle East and Africa today.

Connections

The ECAM Council aims to bring together academics, diplomats, politicians and commentators from across the political and professional spectrum and provide a platform for dialogue and debate.
The Council will ultimately create a major collaborative network from which solutions for the future can emerge.

Healthcare

We have a long-term approach to healthcare investment. Access to quality healthcare is a human and moral imperative. The Council supports hybrid healthcare models where governments, private investment and charitable foundations can join forces to form a framework of incentives that create robust and innovative healthcare systems.

Unity in diversity brings us the strength

A humanitarian donation for Algeria

More than 12,000 Covid patients are currently receiving treatment in the country’s various hospitals, the majority of whom are dependent on an oxygen supply.
In this overwhelming context of oxygen shortage in the African country, Kamel Ghribi President of the European Council of Africa and the Middle East, responded to a call for assistance from His Excellency Ahmed Boutache the Ambassador of Algeria to Italy, and the Honourable Mr. Ali Redjel the Consul General of Algeria in Milan.
